Over the past few years bow hunting has become more than just a hobby to me, it has become a growing passion. I grew up in Northern Wisconsin and was first introduced to hunting by my step father. After spending that first cold morning in the stand, shooting my first little spike and shaking all the way down the ladder I was hooked for life. I recently graduated from Winona State University which is located down in the heart of some of the best hunting land in the country. Chasing giant whitetails has become a year-long passion for me. It all starts with shed hunting in the winter, planting food plots in the spring, to monitoring trail cams in the summer. Watching bucks grow through-out the summer months and piecing together all the pieces of the puzzle is what makes this sport so enjoyable to me. Chasing these elusive creatures is a big part of who I am. It doesn't matter if it is a doe or a mature buck, the high and rush I get with every encounter is priceless and the day that high goes away will be the day I hang up my bow.
